Recreation area Waesmeer is situated in an oasis of calm and comfort, easily accessible in the heart of the Waasland.

Right in the center on the edge of the lake, the Hotel Restaurant Event hall "The Rietgors" welcomes you for all your events from 10-1000 people. Specialized in organising small and large family or company events, both in buffet and banquet form. A party in "The Rietgors" is tailor made for all our customers.

A parking for over 350 cars is available to solve parking problems.

Every Sunday "The Rietgors" holds a theme brunch. Our all-in formula is very much appreciated by young and old. From 10am till 3:00 p.m. you can eat and drink all you desire. While adults enjoy the brunch with live music, children up to 12 can enjoy themselves in the indoor playground.

On Friday and Saturday, our 'Brochetterie' with its all-in self cooking arrangement offers the perfect formula for families, family or company. We also offer our hotel with rooms with a bathroom with bath, shower, toilet and sink. There is a minibar, TV, phone and air conditioning in every room.
