FANTASY-WORLDWIDE DEMOTEAM HISTORY

Since the early age of 4, Michaël already has been a big fan of Kiss, the prehistoric rock group that still travels around the world and who again wear makeup sinsseveral years. The influence of bringing a ‘creature’ to life with facepainting made him clear that he wanted to make his profession of face- and bodypainting.

When he his about 20 and experienced in the world of carnaval he was in contact with Boula who taught him the real skills. When she passed away at too young age of 34, only Michaël couldgo on with her fantastic and immortal style.

On the 31 January 1997, he marries An who is also interested in this branch and is specialized in wound simulation (Red Cross).

Meanwhile these two have met an Image Consultant, Lucienne, who had deepened herself in the art of makeup. On the 31August of the same year “Fantasy Make up and Animation” becomes a fact. A lot of international references are made through these years.

On the 1 November 2003, Fantasy Makeup and Animation becomes the company Fantasy-Worldwide bvba. End 2003 the Fantasy Make up Team stops to exist and lives on after a huge reorganisation with the name Fantasy-Worldwide Demoteam from 01/01/2004. A team of professional makeup artists are ready for national and international assignments for make up.

Since 01/01/2005 Nancy comes in to reinforce the crew fulltime. She becomes Belgian representative for Fantasy-Worldwide within the company.

2006 knows a raging start with international assignments. Michaël travels trough New-Zealand and makes connections on the other side of the world, but also the UK, Austria, Hong Kong and Germany are becoming very important.

2007 becomes a year with lots of changes surely withing the artists' team. A complete reorganisation is set up to ensure quality for all our clients. Right in the middle of 2007 and start of
2008 a big offensive is being prepared in which quality and renewal is achieved.

2008 Olivier Zegers is joining in. The other pupil of Boula. He is especially known for his amazing workshops and work for Allegria (Cirque Du Soleil)

.In the middle of 2009 we proudly present the first official Fantasy-Worldwide course centre.We are ready for you and our colours are ready for some art and ... for you!End of 2009 the Fantasy-Worldwide Demoteam is the first one to organise the AEMI Shanghai Bodypainting Festival in China.
